Hello, my name is Lucy. I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in a number of different therapies – including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). My approach is also informed by Attachment Theory, and I aim to build a warm, non-judgmental and collaborative relationship with the people I support.
I have over twenty years’ experience working therapeutically in health and social care settings. I have particular skills in working with older adults, with people who have long-term health conditions and with people struggling with the psychological impact of Autism or other neurodiverse life experiences. I have a special interest in the path to parenthood, the first few years of a child’s life and maternal mental health in particular. I work currently within the NHS with parents of babies born prematurely. I offer psychological support to people who have experienced complex fertility journeys, birth trauma, baby loss or are adjusting to their child having longer-term health needs.
I am experienced in assessment, formulation, and intervention for a range of psychological problems, including anxiety and depression.
I work on Tuesday 13.00 – 17.00 and online flexibly. I charge £120 per session, and please contact us for case management, Local Authority or business rates.
